token something

I bought some new clothes today. Shit, they're good.

It's really fucken hot. No really.

I got a huge tax return and can buy a new computer. Yay!

I am going to Brisbane on the weekend. I suppose it'll be even hotter there.

Seems like a lot of effort to have a blog. I'm not short of projects, y'know. Wah, wah, wah (that's a self-mocking whingey tone in case you didn't realise).

Things I've eaten that grew in my garden recently: a cucumber. lots of beans. some strawberries. a few peas. countless mulberries. rocket. basil. sage.

who know where it will all end! probably with the golden shallots.

In other news, the ginger's finally coming up.

Seriously? You grew all those things? Respect.

My one gardening-related project this year tanked miserably. And our parsley is dying. Woe, for shame, etc.

I did some weeding on Tuesday!

It will all end with the golden shallots.

In other news, I also need new clothes

Maybe we could have gone opshopping together when I came to Sydney in December, like I promised

Maybe we could have. But I'm not gonna be able to make it to Sydney after all - coz instead I am flying half way round the world to spend xmas with my family and new years with my beloved

Sorry about that

Them's the breaks

Christmas in Geneva and new year romance in Manchester

Or opshopping and Wortwuttage in Sydney

You can understand my position, surely

I imagine it was a tough call. Ha bloody ha.

I wish you nothing but the merriest, and the happiest.

I shall be in Thailand, and will raise a toast to you and your beloved on NYE.

As an aside, once when I was working at C***** Cinema, a Swiss woman came in and talked at me for like, 40 minutes, as people often do when you're a sitting duck like that, and she reckoned that Geneva was just like Our Home Town. I would be interested in your thoughts on this, after you've been there and can judge for yourself.

My excuse for a blog has just turned into an impractical way for us to email one another!

That's right! Awesome stuff

:) Thank you.

We shall.. eh, do our very best to remember to return the favour. (Hey, I may be a rude motherfucker, but at least I'm honest etc)

> C***** Cinema

Cuntre Cinema? Remember it well. Moment of silence etc. I always liked it actually. Although it was a nightmare setup for busy sessions. I liked the way Ronin continued to promote it as the biggest screen in Canberra, even after the one in Tuggeranong started doing the same.. because no one had actually measured either of them. Supposedly.

My folks have also said this. Shall observe and report. There will, of course, be pictures also.

It's not impractical! It's novel.

And the public nature of the thing is good training for me in not being too bitchy and/or indiscreet

Also, I'm totally stoked you have a whole blog basically for the purposes of talking to me!

How good does that make me, huh?
