Some people can get away with cutting the heaving voluminous swathes, coz, like, they're shit hot at 'em.
In general, though, my experience - as a reader, an observer, and formerly the administrator and creative director of my own weblog - is that little bite-sized posts will tend to entice much more effectively than great intimidating slabs of prose.
Who has the time for them? Or the attention span? What with our hectic modern lifestyles and all.
Sparkly, bite-sized, disposable. Such is the spicket of our age.
