These are very interesting things (ie music with lyrics; blogging) but I can't really say anything about either of them at this time. I so would if I could.
I'm trying to find the long comment you made somewhere basically to the effect that the two alternatives watching it were to appreciate all the subtlties and nuances, or just let it wash over you.
I had to do the latter for the most part & was very conscious the whole time that there were innumerable major and minor details just going right past me all over the place.
There were also lots of things about it I appreciated, but parts of it I didn't get at all and I was kind of bored at times.
Also there were elements that I found annoying and silly in the same way that elements of Velvet Goldmine were annoying and silly. But I think those elements were better handled in I'm Not There.
It was very beautifully crafted. Basically I enjoyed it and I thought that it was good.
I'm too distracted by the inexplicable suicide of almost all my passwords to do any better than that this evening.

Whoops, wrong post. Stupid internet cafes. (I blame being in an internet cafe.)
I found NCFOM to be totally.. alright. It was so alright, it wasn't bad. I would even go so far as to say that it was okay.
Yeah, I'm kind of willing to go far enough to say it was good. If pressed, I'd go that far, I suppose.
But what have you to say about I'm Not There? Eh?
